Celebrate the spirit of Valentine's Day with an afternoon of love, art, and wine at the Getty Villa. Start with a gallery tour highlighting famous lovers from classical mythology and the gods and mortals whose passions took them to Hades's realm. Then join wine educator and sommelier Giammario Villa to sip and learn about wines from volcanic regions of Southern Italy, considered entry points to the Underworld. Tickets $75. Complimentary parking. Limited to 40 guests. Must be 21 years of age or older.
This program complements the exhibition "Underworld: Imagining the Afterlife" on view through March 17, and is offered also on Saturday, February 16.
When & Where
Parking is $15 per car upon entry;
Each ticket allows you to bring up to three children ages 15 and under with you in one car.

Enrich your Saturday nights. Join an open-ended discussion in the galleries to heighten your appreciation and understanding of the visual arts by exploring one masterpiece with a Museum educator. The chosen work of art changes every session, making each visit a new experience. Open to 25 participants. Meet at the Museum Information Desk for course introduction.
